Creatives of all ages are invited to join local artist Fern Smith to help create the longest book in the world! The Longest Book in the World is a multi-disciplinary arts project aimed at producing a concertina book. This will be a community-made travel book focusing on popular, treasured, and personal landmarks within the boundaries of the City of Greater Geelong to produce the longest book in the world. Geelong aims to beat the last recorded length of a concertina book of 814.26 meters created by Yang Shuanming in Taiyuan, Shanxi China in 2019 (as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records).
